Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa is in the final of a WTA 1000 event for the first time in her career. The 23-year-old player has reached the final of the Indian Wells tournament in the Californian desert. As we speak of her, let’s take a closer look into her personal life. 

The Spaniard is currently in a relationship with Juan Betancourt. He was born in Cuba and is a model. Paula Badosa has been dating her boyfriend since 2021, but it’s believed the relationship is in its early stages. Their love affair has been confirmed for some months now.

Paula Badosa has a new supporter

Betancourt has become her greatest supporter on the tennis courts these days. He has also worked for magazines such as GQ Brazil, Elle Man Vietnam, and GQ Espana. The model is active on Instagram and goes by the username @juanbetancourtt on Instagram. He has around 370k followers, indicating his popularity.

They confirmed their relationship not long ago when they uploaded a picture of themselves posing in Times Square, New York. She posted a picture that had a caption, “Happy bday to the one and only. Let’s keep growing together. Love You.”

Coming on to tennis, Badosa is currently in the final of the WTA Indian Wells event. During her journey so far, she has managed to register wins over some prominent names.

She has beaten American teenage sensation Coco Gauff. Following that, she even knocked out French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova.

In the quarterfinals, she won against former Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber. After beating Tunisian player Ons Jabeur in the semifinal, she now will meet Victoria Azarenka in the final. We wish her the best of luck in her first appearance in a 1000 event final.
