American tennis player Amanda Anisimova registered a brilliant performance at the Australian Open 2022. Although she did not go beyond the fourth round, she managed to upset some big names.

Recently, Amanda Anisimova was seen taking the help of Therabody equipment to loosen the muscles on her forearm. Interestingly, former tennis great Maria Sharapova has invested in Therabody. They specialize in accessories that help in easing up muscles. The Russian former pro retired in 2020.

Amanda Anisimova uses Maria Sharapova backed Therabody

Recently, Amanda uploaded a picture of herself taking the help of a Therabody appliance and easing the strain in her forearm muscles. In the second picture, she can be seen ready to hit the practice courts.

Sharapova had invested in Therabody in August 2020, months after her retirement. In a statement, she said, “I think my biggest strength as an investor is that I’m able to bring a 360-degree outlook to the table — as an athlete, an entrepreneur and a consumer.” She has been active as an entrepreneur ever since her retirement.

Her match against Osaka was one of the best matches of the tournament. In the final set, the winner had to be decided by playing a tiebreaker. Amanda was the first player to reach 10 points, whereas Naomi won just five points.

In her match against Bencic, she sailed through in straight sets. However, she fell short in the fourth round to eventual champion and World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty.
