The Last of Us Part 2 by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 might have accidentally released the airing date. The Amazon product page apparently displayed the release date. The game got delayed due to the pandemic outburst, and we did not have a date fixed for its release. Sony, on the other hand, did not issue any official statement as of yet. The game initially slated to come out on May 29th, but the Amazon page revealed that the game release date is now June 26th, 2020. PS4 users are waiting patiently for an answer. 

The game designer named Andrew Frost (Naughty Dog on Twitter) streams on Twitch. He did not inform anything yet on this officially. We do know that the pandemic lock-down affected everyone equally. They have shifted their work to a safe space, and the game is still under development. 

Will The Date Be Shifted For Last Of Us Part 2?

The critical thing to remember right now is that the world is under a state of shock. If the game gets delayed by a month or two, then there is nothing surprising in that. The fact is everything has come to a standstill. The other thing is Amazon is known for mistakenly leaking stuff like this time to time. It is no one’s fault. However, we cannot really blame Sony if they delay the game by just a month; it is not going to make much of a difference anyway. 

What Is The Plot Line Going To Be?

The game is a realistic survival game; thus, it adapts to our choices made. The game starts five years from the last one (20130. 19-year-old Ellie will be the player control, and the environment is of a post-catastrophe United States. Played in 3rd person perspective, the game has horror and improvisation attached to it. Players need to be spot on with their reactions and state of mind to make quick choices. The player’s main objective here is self-defense from all forms of problems. They might appear in the form of humans or cannibals who have mutated due to Cordyceps fungus. 

As of now, we do not know when the game is going to come out but we hope it does soon enough.
