The Senior Open Championship is the fifth and final major for senior golfers. The opening round of the tournament has already started today and will conclude on Sunday at the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in Bridgend, Wales. Moreover, this is the third time the golf club will be hosting the event. They first held it back in 2014 and then in 2017.
After hosting it six years later, there have been significant adjustments and challenges made to the golf club. Due to this, the players would have to face many difficulties on the pitch. However, it appears that Colin Montgomerie is fairly confident and has prepared himself well in advance of the tournament.
