The mods in Among Us have been one of the interesting aspects of the game lately. Among Us rose to insane popularity last year, majorly due to the fact that it emulates the feeling of enjoying fun party games with friends. However, towards the end of last year, the popularity of this bizarre and minimalistic multiplayer title took a major hit. Even now, the popularity of the title itself seems to be faltering.

On the other hand, the mods of the game seem to be one of the most popular aspects of the game right now. Numerous streamers spend countless hours streaming the gameplay of Among Us mods, and honestly, they are quite fun.

Now, usually, these mods focus on granting insane powers to the impostor or creating different versions of the impostor role. We have seen the Assassin mod and the Robot mod, which made the gameplay way more interesting.

We have also seen the King Kong mod and the Zeus mod, which literally broke the game. However, the one that we are about to see now is like nothing we have ever seen. Okay, we may have oversold this one. But it is pretty bizarre!

Recently, the popular YouTuber and streamer, Ian Marcus “Ssundee” Stapleton, demonstrated what might be the weirdest mod ever in this game: The Mommy mod.

Among Us gets a Mommy mod, and she is anything but lovable

This Mommy mod is, once again, a variation of the impostor role. Now, she has this one insane ability that we absolutely love. With the press of a button, she plays the “mommy song” and all the crewmates automatically start dancing to it. In addition to this, she does what mommies do best, hand us more chores. Literally, this character has the ability to assign more chores to the crewmates to keep them busy.

If you thought that was weird and smart, behold her next ability. She can throw an apple pie on the crewmates to kill them. Now, that is a fun way to slay the crewmates.

Devs at Innersloth had, in fact, scrapped their work on a sequel to the title to further work on the original.
