Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Barbora Krejcikova’s ranking scenarios upon winning French Open 2021

If Pavlyuchenko is the new Roland Garros champion, then she will make more inroads in the top 20. She will rise to 14th in the ranking with 4000 points. Moreover, she will be ahead of Australian Open 2021 finalist Jennifer Brady and two-time Grand Slam champion and former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka. If Krejcikova wins French Open 2021, then she will make her top 20 debut. She will go above her opponent Pavlyuchenkova and finish at 15th with 3733 points.

A title triumph in Paris will not give Pavlyuchenkova her best-ever ranking. She achieved her highest ranking of 13th back in 2011. And now if she wins Roland Garros she will be just 55 points behind 13th ranked Garbine Muguruza. Furthermore, then she will be 285 points behind the WTA top 10.

Krejcikova is already at her highest ranking, and hence will be at her highest career rankings after French Open 2021. With their deep run in Paris, Pavlyuchenkova, and Krejcikova have already gone above the likes of Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Angelique Kerber before the final. And the winner will go above Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sakkari, etc.
