He said hailed the 19-year-old, Felix Auger-Aliassime in an interview with the ATP and said, “I like Felix. I like his game; physically very strong and he looks good mentally. He’s still young so he’ll need a little time.”

Andy Murray also praised Stefanos Tsitsipas for his all-round game. He said, “Tsitsipas has a really nice game; he’s a good athlete and his personality is great. He’s fun to watch. He has an all-round game that allows him to play well on all surfaces, which is important if you want to get up there and stay up there.”

Andy Murray also backed up Alexander Zverev, who has reached the top 3 in the ATP rankings but has failed to step up in the Grand Slam tournaments.

He praised the German but suggested that he can improve a lot. “Obviously Zverev has a lot of potential and he’s won the most of the young guys. If you have a few bad months it’s easy for people to forget that and start writing you off. But he’s a young guy who can improve a lot,” the 3-time Grand Slam champion said.

Andy Murray also commended Dominic Thiem, who has had the best performance at the majors among the next-gen players till date. He said, “Dominic Thiem has been in Slam finals and is improving all the time. He’s got a great work ethic and a big game. I see him coming through and he could potentially win majors.”

However, Murray is convinced that the ‘Big Three’ who have been dominating the tour since a decade and a half will continue their dominance for a little long. The 32-year-old concluded, “But in terms of dominating, I think the guys at the top will stay around a little too long for that to happen.”
