Under Beltz, she also won an Olympic Silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016. The same year, she reached the final of the WTA Tour.
However, the following season was a very poor one for Kerber as she failed to win anything big. She then parted ways with Beltz and appointed Wim Fisette to her camp.
She went on to win the 2018 Wimbledon title under the tutelage of Fisette, but the partnership did not last for a long period.
Hoping to regain purple patch
Angelique Kerber appointed Kindlmann to her team in November 2019.

Prior to Kerber, Kindlmann worked with Maria Sharapova as well. He has also coached players such as Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Laura Robson, and Madison Keys. He helped Keys reached the US Open in 2017.
Kerber has played just three events on the WTA Tour in 2020, having made the Round of 16 at the Australian Open. She has failed to replicate her past form off late, especially at the majors.
Kerber had previously trained under Beltz from 2004-2013 and then from 2015-2017.
