It comes as no surprise that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is much more than just a Nintendo Switch exclusive at the moment. The game has become a huge brand that features merchandise, limited edition Switch consoles, and even trading cards.

ACNH trading cards have become widely popular and collectible lately. The first two series of the gummy cards were massive hits worldwide, and the third series is finally on its way.

The entire series that comprises 32 cards will also feature four message cards. They will showcase promotional artwork and a postcard.

YouTuber Mayor Mori talked about the new character cards in a recent video.

ANCH cards will be available only in Japan

With the release of the aforementioned series in October, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will boast a total of 86 gummy cards. Fans who’ve bought ACNH cards previously must remember that these packs are sold with sweets or candies. Bandai Namco will manufacture the products yet again, but Nintendo will endorse and license them.

It is worth noting that Nintendo will not release the third series outside Japan. However, e-commerce sites such as eBay that support international shipping are great alternatives for players outside Japan to access them.

All in all, such initiatives by Nintendo are always a delight for fans. Considering the success of the first two cards series, it won’t be a surprise if the third series also helps the developers in making a fortune.

Having said that, there’s an urgent need for more in-game content in Animal Crossing: New Horizons currently. A majority of old players have already quit the game because there’s nothing left that excites them. On the flip side, a plethora of newcomers are joining New Horizons every day, and they seem satisfied with the ongoing events.
