Nintendo will soon conduct the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct. Players are expecting to hear a good deal of exciting news from the upcoming presentation. Developers will hold a 20 minutes presentation and will discuss their future plans for ACNH. Nintendo has already revealed that Brewster will finally arrive in New Horizons with the upcoming update.

Unfortunately, the developers haven’t revealed anything except the arrival of the cafe and Brewster. However, Nintendo has promised to release a lot of content for players at the end of 2021. This year has been quite rough for New Horizons; however, Nintendo might change players’ opinions about the game with the upcoming big update.

Gyroids

If you have been a huge fan of the Animal Crossing series, you might know about the Gyroids item. New Horizons players have been waiting sorely for a substantial update and Nintendo might reward their patience with tons of content. It might also introduce a fan favorite item from previous titles, Gyroids.

Gyroids are decorative items in the Animal Crossing series with arms and faces. Players have to dig them up after rainy days and display them wherever they fancy.

Interestingly, Brewster has a huge history when it comes to Gyroid. In New Leaf, he offered players Brewster-themed Gyroids, whereas in other previous titles he offered users space to store Gyroids. Hence, there’s a high possibility that Nintendo might introduce Gyroid as a new item for players to collect and explore on their island.

Villagers job-related update and Katrina arrival

Most players believe that Brewster and the Roost will take up to 10-15 minutes of the presentation. However, it’s not possible, as we know Nintendo won’t have planned an entire Direct for ACNH if it was all about the Roost. What we can really expect from the upcoming Direct is all the datamined features reported along with the Roost’s arrival rumors.

Among those datamined features, one was regarding a villager’s job-related update. Thus, we might get an update where players have to build a hospital and other buildings like Happy Home Designer. There, users might see villagers working part-time jobs related to the building.

Other than that, we might also see the return of Katrina in New Horizons. Katrina is a fortune teller cat who tells you how your luck will be today. Some dataminers reported that fortune-telling might be an upcoming feature in ACNH. Nintendo can introduce Katrina in the upcoming amiibo series 5 and some other popular characters as well.
