Hidden Details in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct 2021

Brewster’s return

Brewster will arrive on players’ islands and will open his cafe, the Roost, inside the museum. Players are very excited to run into special characters in the cafe and even invite some NPCs through their amiibo figures to drink a cup of coffee with them.

However, with all the hype for Brewster, you might skip a hidden detail at the cafe. If you look closely, you will see a special room at the left corner of the cafe where you can spot tons of Gyroids. Hence, there’s a possibility that Brewster might offer players a special place to store Gyroids similar to many past titles.

Kapp’n and Harv’s Island details in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct

Players will also see Kapp’n at their island dock and he will take players on a tour on his boat to new mystery islands. Interestingly, we can see new vines and plants on one of the mystery islands.

If you watch closely, you will notice a new type of vine that can help you climb to a higher cliff. Although we are getting a feature to permanently place ladders on our island, it would be interesting if we can place these vines to climb in place of ladders. Furthermore, these would be a perfect addition for forest theme islands.

However, the cost of traveling with Kapp’n is very high and is about 1,000 Nook Mile Tickets. Therefore, it would be best for players to save their Nook Miles beforehand if they want to explore these islands.

Harv’s Island will go through a lot of changes and will feature more than a free photography studio, Photopia. We will see many NPCs opening their own store at Harv’s Island, including Harriet, Katrina, and Tortimer, which will return to ACNH with the 2.0 update.

Tortimer will let you store some items that means players don’t have to travel back and forth to Harv’s Island because they were running out of storage. In addition to that, we will get 11 new hairstyles from our personal favorite hair designer, Harriet, at Harv’s Island.

New K.K. Slider songs and the last major free update for New Horizons

K.K. Slider is a very popular fictional character within the Animal Crossing franchise. Most of his popularity lies behind his musical talent and beautiful songs that he plays at the front of the Plaza every Saturday.

K.K. Slider concert is a major highlight of New Horizons and several players visit his in-game concerts. Players who are very fond of his music will be glad to hear that Nintendo will introduce 12 new K.K. songs in the 2.0 update. Moreover, Nintendo is also introducing ABD (New Horizons ATM) for players to deposit and withdraw money (bells).

Surprisingly, you will gain an enormous amount of interest over time if you have enough bells on your ABD. Thus, it would be best to store a large amount of bells at ABD to gain more profit. Furthermore, it would be interesting if players can withdraw bells from other users’ islands as well.
