Reddit user pays tribute to Betty Marion’s death in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Special characters have always been an important part of the Animal Crossing series. Among all the special characters, Isabelle has the utmost amiibo cards because of her tremendous popularity. Indeed, she is one of the most popular characters, if not the most popular character in New Horizons.
Furthermore, players can’t invite her to be their island’s resident in ACNH. Therefore, they like to visit Resident Services every day and listen to her morning announcements to get a bright start of the day. Interestingly, Langdon Ulger (Reddit User) paid their tribute to Betty Marion in the New Horizons theme.
They used Isabelle’s photo with her crying face as a way to display the sadness among Betty Marion’s fans. They photoshopped the picture and display their message in the place of the morning announcement. The message read,” Can you believe it? Today Betty White died! She has meant so much to me…”
This was a perfect tribute and message on behalf of every Betty fan. Naturally, users also showed their numbness in the comments. One comment said,” Rest in peace Betty White. A golden girl to the end.” Another said, “It still hits hard 🥺.”
