Animal Crossing New Horizons: From Eggplant Cows to Popsicles, These Are Some of the Seasonal Items Arriving With the Latest Update

Animal Crossing New Horizons has had a long drought of content for the past few weeks since E3 2021. The developers at Nintendo revealed nothing about the future of the game for the year during the exclusive Direct. However, they recently stated that players shouldn’t worry about it as they are developing content currently set to arrive later this year.

With August set to begin in a few days, fans have a lot of queries about the events and items set to arrive in New Horizons. The developers recently revealed that a free update for the game will arrive on Thursday, July 29. This update will include many of the seasonal items for the upcoming events in the game. Here are some details about these seasonal items releasing soon.

Popsicles and Cotton Candy take center stage in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The Japanese website of Nintendo recently shared some news about the game’s latest update in a blog post. It stated some details and images of the seasonal items that will be part of the upcoming events in the game. Every Sunday during August fans can have a blast during the Fireworks show. In this event, fans can relax and hangout with their villagers and watch the beautiful fireworks display.

Along with the fireworks display, the game will also add new items as part of the event. This includes a Tapioca Drink, Cotton Candy and Popsicles. These items should be a hit among players and it will be interesting to see them carry these items around the Island with fireworks bursting in the sky.

Obon to bring Cucumber Horses and Eggplant Cows

Animal Crossing New Horizons will also celebrate Obon, a Japanese Buddhist custom from August 10 to August 16. During this event, players will gain access to two new items in the Cucumber Horse and the Eggplant Cows. The game will also celebrate the South Korean festival of Chuseok from September 12 to September 20. Many items, including a Mooncake called Geppei in Korean and some rice cakes called Songpyeon will be part of the event.

The post also stated that the developers will release more details about the seasonal items that will arrive soon in New Horizons. There will be more items revealed by them and fans can’t wait to see what they have in store for the players.
