The Happy Home Paradise DLC has brought in some major content that many fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons have wanted for a long time. The recently released paid DLC has included some fresh content that players have loved so far. This includes building new vacation homes for many of their favorite villagers on a new Island of their choice.

However, it’s not just vacation homes that New Horizons players can build on these Islands. The Happy Home Planning team also has a plethora of facilities that players can unlock, which can then be used by the residents of the vacation homes. Here’s everything you need to know about the DLC’s first three unlockable facilities.

The new School and Cafe facilities in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC

Following the construction of six vacation homes, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will first unlock the School facility on their Island. Players can customize the exterior of the School with many designs for the Roof, Siding, Door, and the Bell. They can even name the new Academy which the Villagers can use to educate themselves. Fans can then choose the roles for the Villagers who work there. This includes the roles of the teacher and the students.

After unlocking the School, players can then unlock a Cafe in the Happy Home Paradise DLC. Just like the School, they can tinker with the exterior designs of the Cafe with the Roof, Siding, and the Door. Plus, they can even customize the Awning.

Upon designing the interior and resizing the room, players can enjoy the atmosphere of a bustling cafe. In this facility, they can do carry out orders and buy meals off a menu. Instead of using Bells, fans will have to use the new Poki currency. The food items that players can buy include Curry with Rice, Spaghetti Peperoncino, Colorful Juice, and many more.

The food in the Cafe will be pretty tasty in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, it’s no match for the gourmet cooking that will be offered by the next unlockable facility, which is the Restaurant. Again, players can customize the exterior designs of the building in the Roof, Siding, Door, and the Awning.

After assigning the roles to the Villagers, players can see the place liven up with some amazing food and atmosphere. Players can then head to the Kitchen and speak to the chef, who will provide them with cooking recipes.

Each facility in the Happy Home Paradise DLC serves a purpose. With access to Recipes and Food items, the game will soon allow players to unlock more facilities like the Hospital and many more. Until then, they can relax in Paradise and have the time of their lives.
