Animal Crossing: New Horizons will get its Halloween update on September 30. Animal Crossing fans are probably the happiest people on earth right now as the exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons based Nintendo Switch consoles and amiibo cards are also getting restocked. Seems like the perfect Halloween treat for them.
In the new update, Jack Czar will host the Halloween event in the game. Among all the other spooky surprises, Jack’s return is really special for the players.

Jack is the perfect Halloween character in Animal Crossing
When it comes to Halloween, Jack is not a newbie. He has hosted Halloween in all editions of the game with Animal Crossing: Wild World as the only exception. The host is very important for the players because he gives special Halloween-based items and is the only source of these items.
Jack is a mischievous pumpkin and is the only non-animal character in the game alongside Wisp. As of now, Nintendo is yet to announce the items. However, previous versions of the game suggest that he will hand out items like spooky furniture in return for candy.
Jack also plays mini-games where other villagers disguise themselves as the Halloween pumpkin. Players should make sure that they give candy to Jack for a treat, or he will play a prank on them by either changing their clothes or stealing something from their inventory. In simple words, Jack will make sure that everyone gets a trick or a treat.
These Jack roles are all based on previous editions. It is obvious that he will have something new for everyone this Halloween.
New Halloween-based events and activities in the game
Candy is going to be very important after this update. Starting from September 30, players can collect candy for Jack, which will be available in the Nook store. Apart from this, they can also grow pumpkins for DIY recipes and customize their costumes for the event.
The Halloween night will start from 5 PM until midnight on October 31, so the players should make sure to collect as much candy as they can before the night. Fans are really optimistic about all such new updates and they look forward to enjoying their Halloween with none other than Jack Czar.
