The 2.0 update has added tons of changes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players are able to interact with popular characters from the past, explore new mysterious islands, and have a cup of coffee to start their day. Furthermore, cooking is becoming one of the most popular newly added features in New Horizons.

Users have to learn cooking recipes in order to create dishes that can be eaten, gifted, or displayed. Moreover, they have to grow crops like sugarcane, tomatoes, carrots, wheat, and much more to cook these dishes.

Learn all cooking recipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

In order to start your chief journey in New Horizons, you first have to purchase the Be a Chef! DIY Recipe+ upgrade for 2,000 Nook Miles at the Nook Stop Terminal. This will unlock the Cooking feature on your NookPhone.

Interestingly, you will notice two new food categories added to your NookPhone: Savory and Sweet. Furthermore, you will get a few recipes after purchasing the DIY recipe to get you started. It includes Grilled Sea Bass With Herbs, Tomato Curry, Carrot Potage, and Pancakes; however, there are more recipes to look forward to.

The best way to collect more cooking DIY recipes is by purchasing the Basic Cooking Recipes book inside the cabinet at Nook’s Cranny for 4,980 Bells. It will include dishes like Carrot Cake, Organic Bread, and Seaweed Soup.

Another way to get more cooking DIY recipes is by obtaining fish and sea creatures. Next, you can discover new cooking DIY recipes by simply peeking into your villager’s homes and catching them cooking. Regardless of your stalker-like actions, they will be happy to share their secret recipe with you.
