With the passport feature, players can add custom design creator ID, and dream address in their passports. They can also add a custom phrase and give themselves a title. Players can scan QR codes on the Nintendo 3DS consoles, and consequently add their designs to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Players always like to interact with each other and visit several other islands. To enhance this experience, the NookLink app also lets players visit each other and chat. Obviously, chatting is much easier on mobiles, as compared to the Nintendo Switch consoles. Interestingly, players can also voice chat with each other with the app.

There are tool limitations for visitors in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, players can lift these limits for their “Best Friend”. If players select someone as their best friend, they can use all their tools while visiting. This is an effective way to build trust in the community.
