Players recently celebrated the New Year countdown event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. They were able to spend time with their villagers and welcome 2022 altogether. Furthermore, beginners were happy to collect limited New Year items from Nook Shopping App.

Nintendo will soon introduce 21 January exclusive items in ACNH. All of these items are limited to January, which means if you don’t get it now, you may have to wait another year. Continue reading to learn about all items available in January.

All 21 January exclusive items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

All items are purchased the same way through Nook Shopping App. After opening the App, you have to select the seasonal tab and buy whatever item you like. Furthermore, you can even learn some background information about the item before purchasing it.

The first event is New Years Day, and it lasts from January 1 to January 5. It includes items like 2022 Celebratory Arch, Yut Nori, and Zodiac Tiger Figurine. The second event with limited items is Shogatsu, and it includes items like Kagamimochi, Osechi, Kadomatsu, New Year’s Shimekazari, and Otoshidama Envelope.

Osechi has 4 variants and you can only buy 1 color each day. Therefore, make sure to visit Nook Shopping daily to get your hands on all 4 variants. From January 5 to January 7, players will experience another seasonal event named Nanakusa Gayu. They can buy the Nanakusa Gayu item from Nook Shopping for 1,200 Bells.

The next event is Groundhog Day, and it lasts from January 25 to February 3. Interestingly, Groundhog Day does not appear in New Horizons as a standard event, but it does appear as a Nook Shopping seasonal event; users can purchase the Resetti Model from Nook Shopping.

Setsubun is another event that runs at the same time as Groundhog Day. Setsubun is a Japanese Holiday celebrated in early February where people throw beans at others. During this event, players can purchase the Bean Tossing Kit from Nook Shopping.

From January 25 to February 15, users can purchase limited items exclusive for the Big Game Celebration event. The Football Cheer Megaphone costs 1,500 Bells, while the Football Rug costs 2,000 Bells. Furthermore, the Football Cheer Megaphone item comes with 5 variants.

At the end of January, players will experience two other events called Lunar New Year and Seollal from January 30 to February 6. They can purchase a Lucky red envelope and a Bokjumeoni lucky pouch from the Nook Shopping App during the events.
