Halloween is just around the corner and games have started redecorating. Apart from aesthetics, games introduce various limited-time events as well as pleasing rewards during this time of the year. Popular battle royale game Apex Legends is all set for the festivities, with the developers bringing back the annual Fight or Fright event, but with an interesting twist.

The fight or fright event allows players to join the fight once again following their death. As long as one of their teammates is alive, the players resurrect as ‘Shadow’ legends and continue the fight alongside their teammates.

The price, however? Shadow legends gain speed, but they are not allowed to use weapons. These players will have to use melee weapons until they are killed or their teammates are. As soon as there is only one squad remaining, the game is terminated and they emerge victorious.

Shadow Legends can walk on walls in Apex Legends LTM

Apart from the aesthetic changes to the legends, shadow mode also allows them to walk on walls. Players can only do this after they die and are resurrected as shadow legends. They will join the fight alongside other beasts who plague the night variant of King’s Canyon map.
