The Gaming Merchant shared an image featuring weapons such as Alternator, Hemlok, R-301, Wingman, and EVA-8. All the guns are decked out with unique skins. Although the image becomes blurry under magnification, it paints a picture of how the weapon finishes could look like in-game. There is no surety if all or some of these skins will feature in the event but based on recent history, it seems likely.

Besides that, the YouTuber came across a couple of quips for Octane and Bangalore, which could become a basis for upcoming skins for both legends. Currently, the theme for the legend skins for the forthcoming collection event is unknown. Usually, most of the cosmetic items in such events are legend skins. However, at this point, there is little information available.

Maybe these two legend skins won’t feature in the upcoming event; perhaps it will arrive further down the line at a more suitable time, according to The Gaming Merchant. We have to wait and watch.

Potential theory for a new weapon

The Apex Legends YouTuber shared another image of concept art from Season 3. In the concept art, Mirage is seen with a rather mysterious weapon in his hands. He pointed out its resemblance to the Cold War from Titanfall 2. The Cold War functions as an AOE grenade launcher; it is an energy weapon like the Charge Rifle and fires in a burst.

The Gaming Merchant then established a theory that could potentially bring the weapon from Titanfall to Apex. In the Season 6 quest’s narrative, Mirage and Rampart have made a bet. Due to their pact, Rampart has to craft a weapon for Mirage if she loses the bet. This is where the Season 3 concept art became relevant.

Maybe after Mirage wins the bets, Rampart has to craft a modified version of the Cold War for him. It could also be an entirely new weapon. It will be interesting to see a new weapon inspired by Apex’ lore being added to the game. Meanwhile, The Gaming Merchant has showcased some gameplay with the Cold War in Titalfall 2.
