Apex Legends Season 5 went live on May 12th with update version 1.37. This season has already excited us due to several factors. For those who were claiming that ‘the game is dead,’ its time to change that narrative. Apex just came back to life with this new season, changing several aspects of the game.

First and foremost, a new legend – Loba, in search of metal and blood. Her abilities revolve around teleportation, sniffing out best loot, and creating a loot space for all. The other new aspects of the game besides battle pass are the updated guns and the reworked map.

Despite the Apex community reacting harshly to Season 4, some of us believe Season 5 will change all that. The game is set up for something big with all these new additions, and we will have to be patient.

Map changes and much more in Season 5

“Skulltown and Thunderdome have fallen. A new POI, Salvage, has been added to the Broken Coast. Across the map, the Offshore Rig connects to the former Relay and Wetlands.” This was the official description given for the map changes. No matter how much we miss Skulltown, there is always going to be something new replacing it.

“Kings Canyon will be the only map available for two weeks after the season launch” – players will definitely have to adjust to this for a while.
