Meanwhile, the Apex community’s content creators recently playtested Ascension’s expansions prior to launch. They weren’t supposed to post any footage until November 2. However, a YouTuber, Mox600, accidentally revealed some footage featuring season seven content, which they took down eventually.

A data miner named Thommaso uploaded a brief clip. It shows Horizon’s leaked Legendary skin with the new Season 7 main lobby screen in the backdrop, based on Olympus. Apex Games’ newest competitor is sporting a neon look, with a pink mohawk, googles, and armor, matching the theme.

The same footage gave the first glimpse at the updated Battle Pass challenges, which now use a new stars system. Apparently, how this new system works is completing ten stars equals one Battle Pass level. Overall, it should be an easier system to comprehend.

Could Olympus house a secret vault?

Meanwhile, those who have followed Apex’s storyline know that Hammond Robotics teleported Revenant’s source code to Psamathe. Olympus is a floating city among the clouds, above the planet Psamathe. Since Olympus arrives with Season 7, it makes sense for Revenant’s story to continue. It could point to a concealed spot in the floating city, much like the underground facilities underneath Kings Canyon.

This seems plausible considering Apex’s other maps have received some sort of hidden location with high tier loot. Pedro Peres, one of the season seven playtesters, mentioned that he suspected something could be hidden under Olympus, similar to the underground vaults and bunkers in Kings Canyon.

Moreover, the facility which now shelters Revenant’s source code definitely wouldn’t be out in the open. It has to be a secure location with only authorized personnel having access. Therefore, Olympus could have a concealed spot. It will most likely hold high tier loot while also addressing Apex’s lore.

For now, we have to look out for such a location on our own when we get to jump into Olympus. Season 7 of Apex Legends launches on November 4, alongside the game’s debut on Steam.
