There are several other legends, however, who are way more popular picks than the expert modder. This is due to the fact that Rampart’s passive and ultimate seem lackluster compared to other legends who have been in the game for a while now.

Therefore, The Gaming Merchant has come up with a trick that makes Rampart’s ultimate ability better. This simple strategy pushes her ultimate to the furthest possible limit, making it slightly more useful.

A strategy to use Rampart’s ultimate in a viable way in Apex Legends

To use Rampart’s Sheila minigun, a player has to place it, let the animation play through, and zoom in to start firing. This tedious process takes about 5 seconds, while the player is a sitting duck. It is definitely not the best spot to be at while using the not-so-great ultimate ability.

Therefore, The Gaming Merchant figured out a somewhat aggressive workaround. The trick is to place the minigun and get on it as quickly as possible. After that, start spamming left and right, with your movement buttons or by dragging your mouse. Point the minigun’s nose upwards to the sky and make sure to hold down the fire button as soon as you get on the turret to charge it up. And now, it’s time to aim at the enemy and rain bullets down.
