The Apex Legends season 6 has kicked off and the action is underway in the Apex Games. This season saw the introduction of a new legend Rampart. The new season brought a lot of map changes. One of the most notable ones is in ‘The World’s Edge’ where certain areas can now be fortified by raising blast walls. A lot of other changes have also been made that will now make you rethink your strategy and approach to any match. Don’t worry, we have just what you need. Here are 5 tips that will help you be the champion in Season 6:

1. The crafting system is something you can really take advantage of. It allows you to upgrade your armor and weapons but you can also use it to your advantage. If you are in need of a certain type of ammo, just drop the weapon you don’t want ammo for. And for just 5 crafting points, you can get a stack of ammo for the other gun. This is great if you have two weapons using the same ammo which will let you get two stacks of the same ammo.
2. The Mozambique has an increased mag size now. This is not only one of the most efficient pistols but is also useful in both short and long-range combat situations. It now has 4 shots per mag instead of 3 which gives you a little advantage if you use it correctly.
3. The new Volt energy SMG is an amazing weapon to have in your arsenal. Even though it is an SMG, it works brilliantly as a long-range gun, too. Its recoil is easy to control and can be an asset in combat.
4. New legend Rampart is definitely someone you would want to play as. Her abilities are quite handy, especially her cover. The shields increase your bullet damage when shot through the shield which and be extremely helpful if you want to just hold onto one position.
5. If you’re playing as Loba, do not hide behind Rampart’s cover because her head is visible behind it and a sniper could easily take it out. If you are crouching behind it. You might want to keep your head down.
