Cerrone was then accused of throwing the fight. For being involved in fixing and even heard speculation of him being bought out. That is absolutely false. Cowboy denies all these allocations and finally gave us an answer.
Speaking with ESPN MMA’s Brett Okamoto he said, “ A lot of people say that I threw the fight. I say you’ve got the wrong guy to think I would sell my soul. There is not enough money in the world to have me throw a fight. Are you kidding me? Please!”

Cerrone continued and addressing these people he said, “ That’s just funny. Like you guys are so stupid. For one, the infrastructure of the UFC would have to be so corrupt for them to pay me. You know what I mean, it’s ass and eye to think like that would be a thing. But there are people who truly believe that the world is flat. So you know there’s just dumb people out there. I don’t know what to tell you, man. People are crazy!
