Since Van Gall was appointed as the new United manager, Arturo Vidal has been heavily linked with a
move to old Trafford. The former Dutch manager is a huge admirer of the 27-year old and wants him at
The red devils were believed to be heavily linked with the player this whole summer but in recent times
the talks had been broken down, but as reported by the ‘mirror’ in it’s Sunday editon, Manchester
United are resurrecting a move for the prolific box to box the midfielder. They are ready to launch a bid
of £35m and are understood to have wrapped the deal up by the end of the coming week.
Meanwhile at the Italian end, the Turin based club’s chief Beppe Marotta is confident that Vidal will stay
as a member of the club. As reported by the ‘IB Times’ Marotta explained …
“Absolutely yes. It is a very remote chance, considering what the lad is like, and so I’m not even
considering the possibility The situation around him is typical of the transfer market when several big
clubs admire him. Vidal exploded in a fairly unexpected way over the last two years to become one of the
most important players in the world. He is naturally linked to big clubs, but I’ll point out Juventus are a
big club too and we intend to hold on tight. I don’t get the sensation he wants to leave us,” he added.
Since Michael Carrick is out for some months due to an ankle injury united will be desperate for the
signature of Chilean starlet and that is one of the major reasons due to which Manchester United have
rekindled their interest in the defensive midfielder.
With united wanting him keenly in their squad and Juventus hoping to keep their man and with no
verdict coming in from the Juventus no.23 man, his future looks to be quite in air for now. But his future
destination will surely be decided in the coming days.
