Ring of Honor icon Jay Briscoe tragically passed in a car accident on January 17. The legendary tag team wrestler was with his two daughters when his car met with an accident leading to his demise. Many names such as Seth Rollins, Triple H, and others paid their tributes to the late wrestler. His two daughters, Gracie and Jayleigh, were also severely injured in the crash. A day after this horrific incident, Ashley Pugh, the wife of Jay Briscoe asked people to pray for her daughters. She revealed that Gracie, 12, underwent surgery on her back and Jayleigh was stable despite several injuries. And now another update on the condition of the two sisters has emerged, and it is a positive one. A family friend of the Pugh family has shared detailed information on the recovery of Gracie and Jayleigh. It was noted that both girls are stable, but have a long road of recovery ahead of them.
People relieved to hear positive update on the daughters of Jay Briscoe
Josh Wharton, who runs a non-profit in the area where the Briscoe family lives and is also a friend to them, streamed an update on the condition of the two girls on Facebook on Thursday. He said that Gracie, Jay’s 12-year-old daughter, regained feeling in her lower extremities, having no feeling a day before below her thighs. Wharton said she was able to get out of her bed a few times and used the wheelchair. Moreover, she was off her IV medications and will take medicines orally now.

Although she still has an NG tube in place, there is hope that they can take out the tube on Saturday. Jayleigh is still on IV medications.
