The entrance of Alabama in the playoffs race makes the battle more exciting. The same views were highlighted by Josh Pate recently. He said- “Michigan knows this next team, whoever we hear name that’s who we’re going to play in the first round. They hoped they were going to draw Florida State.”

Michigan knows that Alabama is a strong outfit and they can match Michigan player for player. Pate points out that perhaps Michigan was hoping they would draw FSU since that would be an easier win for them during the playoffs, rather than Alabama which will be hard work.
