As the wait for next-gen consoles grows shorter by the day, game developers have started revealing content and other details coming to their titles. The latest game to join the list is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

French developers Ubisoft released information on Title Update 1.0.2 also known as the day one update. The update is available for pre-load on the Xbox family of consoles, PS4/PS5, PC, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. It will include the following improvements;

  • Fine-tuned the balancing of the game.
  • Addressed various quest-related nuisances.
  • Improved performance and stability.
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Moreover, the update will also include some new content, specially catered for the next-gen consoles.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: New content and launch timings

Firstly, the game will get additional localized audio packs. The availability of this pack depends on the region of players.

Secondly, ‘the beloved Animus Database will return with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as “Codex”. The Codex has two parts, the Database & Tutorials.’

Out of the two, the database provides information about the world and its people. On the other hand, the tutorials provide insight into everything a player has learned.

The update is already available for pre-load on the Xbox platforms but not on other platforms such as the PS4 or Stadia. Moreover, they will launch on all the platforms around November 10/11 across the regions.

The update will also come to the PlayStation 5 on November 12 with the launch of the next-gen consoles.

While the update is not much, there are major enhancements coming to the game as well. These enhancements include better resolutions and frame rates. Moreover, these might also include features like ray-tracing and enhanced 3D effects due to the power of the all-new AMD processors.

Assassin’s Creed is one of the most popular gaming franchises, and Valhalla’s sales are expected to rival those of Cyberpunk 2077 and others. Furthermore, the franchise also getting Netflix original content. All in all, it’s a good time to be an AC fan.
