Olympic gymnastics GOAT, Simone Biles has had a tough year mentally. Simone had to withdraw from four out of five events at Tokyo Olympics 2020, because of mental health issues. Although, she did still clinch two Olympic medals in Tokyo. This victory made her the most decorated American gymnast in the history of the Olympics.

After Tokyo Olympics in August, September has been hectic for the gymnastics star. After chaotic appearances at award functions and interviews, Simone is now looking forward to fulfilling her childhood dream of going on her own tour. Biles will start her Gold Over America tour officially on the 21st of September 2021.

“It has been a crazy week,” says Simone Biles

Simone Biles has achieved 7 Olympic and 32 world championship medals in her rewarding career. At Tokyo Olympics 2020, she bagged the silver medal in the team event and the bronze medal in the women’s individual event.

After coming back from Tokyo Olympics, Simone has caught the eyes with her off-field looks. Simone appeared at the MTV VMA’s award 2021 and introduced the performance of celebrity singer Doja Cat. Biles also made her debut at the iconic fashion event, the Met Gala 2021, in a stunning 88-pound dress.

After an exhausting week, Simone has now left for her Gold Over America tour. Top female American gymnasts are accompanying Simone on the tour. The 24-year-old recently talked about her hectic week. However, she is super excited about starting her tour.

“It has been a crazy week. Emotionally, physically draining. But at least we get to end on the highest of highs on the Gold Over America Tour. So I’m excited about that. But it definitely wasn’t easy going from the Met Gala to the VMAs to the Senate to here. It’s kind of been a whirlwind,” Simone said.

Biles will start her tour from Tucson

Simone Biles and her team of female gymnasts have already left for the Gold Over America tour. American women have started their practice and rehearsals for the gymnastics party in 35 American cities. The tour will premier on the 21st of September, and the first destination will be Tucson.

Tokyo Olympics 2020 team members, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carrey, and others are accompanying her. Although the Tokyo gold medalist Suni Lee will be missing from the tour, it promises to be an exciting event.
