Olympic legend Allyson Felix created history at the 2020 Tokyo edition of the Summer games. She became the most decorated American track and field athlete. Felix also started her own shoe line, Saysh, and wore the same for her medal-winning performance. The 35-year-old inspiration made her Met Gala debut this year.

Allyson wore a beautiful ballgown as she arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Felix represented Athleta and was accompanied by her fellow Olympic star Simone Biles and Gap Inc. CEO Sonia Sygnal.

For her Met Gala 2021 debut, Felix wore a stunning gown designed by Artistic Director Kim Jones. Allyson pulled off the pastel blue high number with a peekaboo cutout, adorned with an incredible 240,000 ostrich feathers, and crystal beads.

Felix’s eyes complimented her ballgown as she adorned a sparkling white eyeliner. Additionaly, she had her hair tied back so that the whole focus was on her heavy gown. The theme of this year’s fashion festival was “America: A Lexicon Of Fashion”.

The Olympic stars Allyson Felix and Simone Biles represented Athleta at the Met Gala 2021. Athleta donated $50,000 on the behalf of the Olympians to the Power of She Fund. Felix has been partnering with Athleta for quite a while now. She also had a partnership with the brand for her two capsule collections and shoe brand.

The gymnastics star Simone Biles also appeared at the Met Gala 2021. Remarkably, Biles wore an extremely heavy but stunning outfit in black and silver color for her Met Gala 2021 appearance. Interestingly, it took an effort of 100 craft workers and 6,500 hours of time to get her three in one, 88 pound dress ready.

Notably, a plaethora of celebrities including athletes from diverse sports attended the fashion event. NBA star Stephen Curry, F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, tennis star Serena Williams, and USWNT star Megan Rapinoe were all present for the occasion.
