Andy Murray made a come back into tennis at the Fiver-Tree Championships at the Queen’s Club after recovering from the hip surgery. However, the Brit is still not ready to play singles, he was ready for the doubles event. Murray has reached the quarterfinals of the Fiver-Tree Championships partnering with Feliciano Lopez.

Andy Murray decided to play doubles at the Wimbledon Championships 2019 after performing well at the Queen’s club. However, he was still looking for a doubles partner for Wimbledon until finalizing his partner, yesterday.
The top players at the Fiver-Tree Championships were asked to make their best case for why Andy Murray should have chosen them instead.
Nick Kyrgios suggested that he would love to partner with his friend Andy but couldn’t promise him to win matches. He said, “I would have loved to play with Andy. I don’t know I’ll carry probably till like semis but I would say yeah.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas praised himself and said, “You should definitely pick me. I am very skillful at the net. I serve aces, like 95% of the time.”
Stan Wawrinka joked about not picking him as he feels that he is not good on grass. The Swiss said, “Don’t pick me, I am not good on grass, Andy.”
Marin Cilic also jests about putting aside his singles to play doubles match partnering with Andy Murray. He said, “So Andy, I would be a great pick for Wimbledon. You know I would put my singles on the side and focus fully on doubles.”
However, Andy Murray’s elder brother, Jamie Murray revealed that he doesn’t want to.partner with Andy as he already got a partner. He continued, “I don’t want to be his partner because I got my partner, Neal Skupski and I am really happy with him.”

Earlier, Andy Murray had revealed that he was rejected by several women till now to whom he asked out for teaming up at Wimbledon Championships 2019 for the mixed doubles event.

However, Kristen Flipkens asked Andy Murray to be his partner at the All England Club, this year. Kristen Flipkens partnered with Andy Murray at the Wimbledon 2006. She posted a picture of them on Twitter and wrote, “Wimbledon 2006…Wimbledon 2019, Andy Murray?”
