Along with it, she witnessed another Argentine tennis star, Facundo Diaz Acosta, win a home event. Following the incredible triumph, she expressed her joy at the local boy’s unexpected championship win in the Argentina Open.

The one-time Grand Slam champion was recently seen attending the 2024 Argentina Open, which is an ATP 250 event where Carlos Alcaraz claimed victory last year. But this year, Díaz Acosta turned out to be the new champion of the tournament and won his first-ever ATP title.

He also got an opportunity to meet the 53-year-old Argentinian former tennis player during the trophy ceremony. The pictures of Gabriela Sabatini and the new Argentina Open champion were going around on social media and even grabbed her attention.
