Now that the clay-court season has concluded, the attention has shifted towards the grass-court tournaments. When grass is mentioned, Swiss maestro Roger Federer comes to mind first. Today, the warm-up tournament ahead of the Wimbledon Championships begins, which is played in Halle in Germany.

The 10-time Halle champion, Roger Federer will be in action and will kick start his grass-court campaign this season. He will be seen playing on this surface for the first time after the 2019 Wimbledon final. The Swiss superstar will be up against Bulgarian player Ilya Ivashka later today.

It will be the third match of the day, played in the ‘Arena’. The first match starts at 11 am local time, which means Federer’s match will begin approximately at around 3 pm local time.

In Australia, fans can watch the former World No. 1 player on beIN Sports. In France, all the action can be viewed on Eurosport. The match in Germany will be shown on Sky Deutschland and in Spain, fans will be able to see this match on Telefonica.

In the United Kingdom, Amazon Prime Video is the place to catch the Swiss star playing his first match. Moving towards the United States of America, Tennis Channel will cater to the needs of fans and will telecast this match. Meanwhile, Supersport is the channel for fans in Africa to get a glimpse of the 39-year-old athlete.

Federer was most recently seen in Paris at the French Open 2021. He pulled out of the event before his fourth-round match in order to focus on the grass-court tournaments, but the wait is now over as he will be seen on the courts at Halle today.
