The brother of Frances Tiafoe has called him the “Drake of DC”, and for good reason. A few hours ago, Frances posted a picture taken while enjoying a Commanders match with friends and brother Asmiru.

Swiping on the slides, one can easily figure out how proud Frances is to be wearing a Washington Commanders jacket. The post has definitely left no room for doubt on who Tiafoe’s favorite team is in the NFL.
Frances Tiafoe sure has a favorite
Recently, the popular American tennis star took to Instagram to share some moments with his fans. The pictures of him with his brother Asmiru Tiafoe, enjoying a Commanders match gained a lot of love from fans.
Commenting on his post, Frances‘ brother Asmiru (Franklin) Tiafoe said, “The @champagnepapi of DC”. @champagnepapi is Drake’s Instagram user ID. So basically, Asmiru called Frances the “Drake of DC”.
Frances loved this comment from his brother and replied, “Best caption of 2022”.

This was due to the picture with Joseph Maloney and the small video that Frances posted. Joseph Maloney, the head of public affairs for the Washington Commanders gifted Frances a Commanders jacket and even helped him put it on. Frances has posted a video of this along with a picture of himself with Maloney on Instagram.
Both Frances and Washington Commanders fans have loved this gesture and there are several comments that ask Frances to not lose the jacket. True to his love for the Commanders, Frances has also clicked pictures flexing his jacket.
What’s up with Tiafoe?
Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock beat Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in Federer’s last match at the US Open 2022. Frances has become a very popular name in the international tennis circuit since then. The 24-year-old Tiafoe has gathered heartfelt praise for himself after he clinched victory at the Laver Cup 2022.
Frances has been very active on social media and his fans are loving it. Recently he posted pictures of vacationing with his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield, who is a Canadian tennis player herself. Looks like the world no. 19 is taking some time off and fans cannot seem to get enough of Frances’ social updates.
