It looks like another legendary name in the world of motorsports, particularly Formula One, has inspired the 19-year-old tennis star to keep pushing his limits. And, it is none other than the 2-time F1 world champion, Fernando Alonso.

He recently let his fans know about the same during his remarkable campaign in Miami Gardens. In doing so, the reigning US Open champion also showcased his support for the Aston Martin driver in a cryptic manner.

Carlos Alcaraz is buzzing about Fernando Alonso as he might win another Grand Prix

Apart from following his usual sport, the Spanish tennis player is also a huge fan of Formula One. While following the immensely popular motorsport, Carlos Alcaraz has always admired his compatriot, Fernando Alonso, who has a number of remarkable records in his bag. Even in Miami, the 19-year-old tennis star has found his own way to root for his favorite Formula 1 driver.

After outclassing the American tennis player Tommy Paul in straight sets, the Indian Wells champion had a cryptic message for Alonso. Alcaraz, who is known for his unique camera lens messages, scribbled another one, that read, “33 soon?”. Taking note of that, the entire tennis community was quite confused, as they couldn’t decode that message.

Some Spanish fans, on the other hand, immediately knew that it was a shout-out for the Aston Martin driver. Alonso, who has 32 Grand Pix wins in his bag, might clinch another one, in the upcoming Australian GP. Notably, the reigning US Open champion is buzzing about his compatriot as he has started the season with two consecutive podium finishes.

Alonso also came across the camera lens message from the Spanish tennis player on Twitter. He replied by saying, “Lock up this man!!!😂😂😂😂 You are a phenomenon 💪💪! Come on!!!”

It got a quick response from Alcaraz, who said, “you got me flipping”

The Spanish F1 racing driver has bagged 32 wins, 22 poles, and 97 podiums over the course of his career, competing for numerous teams, including McLaren, Ferrari, Alpine, and now Aston Martin.
