Furthermore, Nadal also lost to Novak Djokovic in the French Open semifinal, his most heartbreaking loss this year. After that match, his injury got exposed, and as a result, he missed the Wimbledon and U.S. Open 2021. As usual, the Spaniard tried to get back on the Tour quickly and took part in the Citi Open. Later on, he realized that his injury needed more time.

Rafa fans will have to wait for the 2022 season to see Nadal back in action. Until then, the Spaniard will be looking forward to enjoying his life outside tennis.
