The 22-time Grand Slam champion recently collaborated with NBA star Steph Curry to introduce the latest sandwich of Subway. The advertisement for the same included both Curry and Nadal, but it was the latter who stole the show.

Despite the fact that he hasn’t played since the 2023 Australian Open, this new advertisement has subtly brought him back into the spotlight.

Fans can’t take their eyes off Nadal’s acting 

Even after being out of the tennis circuit for almost 6 months, Nadal came together with the NBA legend to promote Subway’s latest creation, the Grand Slam Ham. In the new advertisement, Curry details how Subway’s new sandwhich is made for pros who prefer Grand Slam titles more. Then he also questioned whether the new sandwich lived up to the Spaniard’s expectation.

But that’s not the main highlight; the 22-time Grand Slam Champion’s acting skills are what grabbed the fans’ eyes. Recently, Bastien Fachan, a renowned tennis journalist, took to his Twitter account to share the advertisement video. In addition, he also wrote, “Rafa’s line delivery is taking me out.”

Several tennis fans shared their thoughts on how this could be the most hilarious advertisement the Spaniard has been a part of. A fan wrote, “Commercial Nadal is high high comedy lmaoo.” Another shared his reaction after watching the advertisement, “I am HOLLERING.”

Further, a Twitter user also cited how Rafa is underrated when it comes to making his fans laugh. He wrote, “Rafa is low key hysterical and he has no idea why.”
