American tennis star Frances Tiafoe has had a great year. The 24-year-old performed well throughout the season and had some big victories to his name. Apart from his love for tennis, the American also loves other sports. One of them is basketball. He also has good friends in the NBA circuit and recently paid a visit to the NBA headquarters in New York.

If Tiafoe fans are hoping to see him in basketball action, the American has a surprise for his fans. Certainly as a joke, Frances Tiafoe has offered to be a part of the 2023 NBA draft. He recently visited the NBA headquarters in New York and also met the NBA commissioner Adam Silver.

Later, he shared a picture with Silver and in the caption, he wrote, “Announcement y’all after meeting with @adamsilvernba. I’ve decided that I will be declaring for the 2023 NBA draft. Seriously, thanks for having me come by the @nba office and checking out the HQ. Nyc is always up for the kid. Big S/O to @brooklynnets for taking care of me. Until next time thanks guys.”

Tiafoe’s friend and fellow tennis player Christopher Eubanks was quick to react to the funny post. “You just traveling with the team now huh?” he commented.

Tiafoe’s love for the NBA is not a mystery anymore. The 24-year-old always takes out time to go and watch NBA matches when not on the tour. The American recently concluded a very successful year and is enjoying his time away from tennis.

Meanwhile, he traveled to Washington, DC to watch a match between the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat. His long-time girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, accompanied him to the game.

The couple was there to support Wizards, and Tiafoe later shared multiple pictures from the day on his Instagram story.
