Frances Tiafoe has had a very eventful year on the court, where he not only performed astoundingly well but also ignited hope in the hearts of American tennis fans. So, right now, he is busy enjoying his off-court life by attending events and enjoying a break with his girlfriend. Recently, he was invited to a New York Knicks game, and the US Open semifinalist showed his gratitude towards them but made it clear that he was not leaving his favorite team, the Washington Wizards, for them.

The American player has had a fantastic season that had the American fans dreaming about a first Grand Slam in the men’s circuit since 2003, when Andy Roddick won the US Open. Although he faltered in the semifinal against the eventual champion, Carlos Alcaraz, fans will be hopeful of another impressive season from the American star.
Frances Tiafoe keeps his allegiance to his favorite NBA team
The American tennis sensation came to the fore in 2022 with his stunning run in the US Open. Following that, he did well in other ATP tournaments as well. Now the player is enjoying his off-season by attending other sports events. Recently, he was invited to a New York Knicks game, where he had loads of fun.

The tennis sensation uploaded pictures to his Instagram. At first, he rejoiced about the time spent with his girlfriend in New York, and stated, “Nyc vibezzz hit DIFFERENT. Great couple days w @ayan.broomfield. Always gonna be a special place for me #keepthemainthingthemainthing.”

Following that, he thanked the Knicks for inviting him to their game while reminding them that he has no intention of changing allegiances from his favorite team in the NBA, the Washington Wizards. He stated, “Also big S/O to @nyknicks for having me. Y’all showed crazy love but I must still say I’m a wiz fan for life.”

The American player is such an ardent fan that he also went to a practice session with the team. And not just that, he also went on to shoot some hoops with the team.

Is Tiafoe joining the next NBA draft?
Tiafoe’s off-season has been laden with basketball events, and Tiafoe is relishing it. He recently attended the Washington Wizards vs. Brooklyn Nets game. Furthermore, he also met the Commissioner of the NBA Adam Silver when he visited the NBA office. Subsequently, he declared himself available for the 2023 NBA draft. However, the peak of this basketball off-season was when he met LeBron James during a game between the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers.
