On Monday, Casper Ruud played his second Grand Slam final of the year. Earlier, he also made it to the final of Roland Garros, losing to Rafael Nadal on that occasion.

This time, he went down to another Spaniard. However, it won’t be fair to say that Norwegian simply gave it away to Alcaraz. He was brilliant throughout the tournament and gave a tough fight in the finals.
