Frances Tiafoe has won millions of hearts with his recent performance at the US Open. Before gearing up for her next tournament, Tiafoe is spending time with his friends. He was seen having a great time at a party hosted by the Basketball player Carmelo Anthony. He is quite active in Social media and recently shared an interesting story involving the NBA legend.

The 24-year-old had a great US Open season but was not able to make a win after losing the semi-final round against Carlos Alcaraz, who ultimately turned out to be the youngest US Open Champion.

Frances Tiafoe shares an admiring post for an NBA star

Frances is having a great time with his friends after an exciting tournament. He recently took to Instagram to share a photo posted by Carmelo Anthony on his page. The photo featured the 24-year-old himself with the NBA star and a few friends. He shared the picture and wrote “The King of New York.”

 The NBA star has started his basketball career in NYC and has recently started his wine venture, hoping to bring a new voice with his wines. Former Knicks star is now entering the food and wine industry. The event was about celebrating his new venture coming up. The series of pictures posted by Anthony hinted that it was quite a star-studded party.

Not only Tiafoe, but even tennis legend Serena Williams, and basketball ace Russell Westbrook were also a part of the party to support their dear friend.

Tiafoe had a record-breaking US Open season

Tiafoe had a great time at Flushing Meadows this year. He started his US Open journey by defeating Rafael Nadal in the fourth round of the tournament. The tennis sensation is only the one to defeat the World Number three in this year’s grand slam.

With his memorable victories, he became the first African American to reach the semi-finals since the legendary Arthur Ashe in 1972. Notably, he also suppressed Andrey Rublev to become the first American to advance from the quarter-finals of this grand slam. Rublev was the last American to reach the US Open final in 2006. However, he was not able to complete his victory run and was defeated by the world number one in the semifinals.

Now, Tiafoe fans are eagerly waiting for him to win a grand slam in the upcoming tournaments.
