Rune compares Roger Federer with himself

Speaking in an interview with Ekstra Bladet, he defended his actions and reactions. He said, “I have an extreme passion for this sport and sometimes I show it too much. I am 19 years old and still young.” Furthermore, he talked about his improvement. He said, “I work every day to get only the positive out of my attitude, and that is a process.”

Moreover, he compared himself with the 20-time grand slam champion, Roger Federer, during his young days.

Roger Federer is one of the most celebrated players in the world of tennis. Former world no. 1 is known for his decorum, both on and off the court which has brought a good name to the sport as well. Rune, too, wishes to go along the same lines and maintain a positive image in the public. He will now play at the Eastbourne Tournament before the Wimbledon Open.
