41-Year-Old Roger Federer Goes Carefree as He Relishes ‘New Beginnings’ After 15 Long Years

Swiss Maestro Roger Federer recently played his last tennis match. After a long injury layoff, the 41-year-old returned to play his final tennis match. While the fans gave him an emotional farewell, the world is still not over the void he left behind. Meanwhile, the 20-time Grand Slam champion is enjoying his retirement.

He is spending some quality time with his family and also indulging in some fun activities. One such activity, he tried after 15 years. Here’s what happened.

Roger Federer gets back to skiing after 15 years

Being a professional tennis player is a tough job. It might seem all fancy from the outside, but the hard work and discipline required is very hard to maintain. For someone like Federer, who dominated the tennis world for a long time, it was even more difficult to take out time for other fun activities.

The Swiss tennis star recently updated his fans about his skiing adventure. Federer took to his Instagram account and updated a reel from his adventurous day out. It is interesting to note that the 20-time Grand Slam champion last got an opportunity to ski 15 years ago.

“It’s been 15 years, it feels so good to be back on the slopes,” Federer wrote in the caption.

While Federer is enjoying his life after retirement, fans are eagerly waiting for the Swiss Maestro to get back on the court. It will be interesting to see if we will get n opportunity to see Federer pick up the racket again.

It’s not easy to be Roger Federer. It was even more hard for his wife Mirka to handle him off the court. For any athlete, there are high and low points in a career. As a tennis player herself, Mirka understood it very well. She not only played her responsibility as a wife, but the Swiss former star also took care of the motivation and space Federer needed as a tennis player.

While as a tennis player, she knew her own limitations, Mirka understood that Federer had a lot more potential and did her best to make his legacy even better.
