Roger Federer plays a part in designing the latest On tennis shoes

The 40-year-old co-created On’s latest model of tennis shoes. Giving a sneak into Federer-designed shoes, the brand shared a video on their official Twitter handle, saying, “Our first-ever performance Tennis shoe is here. Co-created with [Roger Federer], it’s a Center Court conqueror.” Later, Federer retweeted the video, to which a fan reacted, “You designed them? They look good.”

Further, On Running is a Swiss company, and there is a nice history of Federer’s association with the brand. The Swiss legend’s first interaction with the brand was when her wife had sported On Running’s shoes. Later, he spotted the brand’s shoes in one of the shops in Zurich. Subsequently, he bought one of the pairs and found it amazing. It was then that Federer was interested in meeting the brand’s founders.

Federer, along with his agent, held a meeting with On’s co-founders to know more about the growth plans of the brand. The co-founders struck a great bond with Federer, and the latter was left impressed with the brand’s vision. Federer decided to partner with On Running, which has gone on to become the fastest-growing athletic footwear brand last year.
