Tennis superstar Andy Murray has long been known for his incredible skill and determination on the court. However, recently, his softer side was revealed when his mother, Judy Murray, shared a heartwarming story about her son’s love for golden retrievers.

Recently, a video of Murray went viral in which he can be seen petting and playing with a golden retriever puppy. This incident happened during the Mubadala Citi DC Open. In the video, Andy can be seen petting the dog. He even says in the video, “Very sweet dog. I would love to take him.”

With the video catching people’s attention, his mother shared a childhood photo of him with a golden retriever puppy. She captioned the young Murray’s throwback picture, saying, “Andy had a golden retriever puppy called ABBY when he was 11 so he can totally identify with this gorgeous little fluff ball that he met.”

Andy’s newly revealed side made him even more loveable than he already is to his fans, and they bombarded the post with love through comments.
