Rafael Nadal has confirmed his presence at the Wimbledon 2022 after trying a new treatment for his foot injury. Owing to his resilience, the player is back on court once again to practice for the grass-court major.

Carlos Moya, the coach of the Spanish player, talked about his recovery, tenacity, and his chances at Wimbledon. He talked about Rafa’s stats at the Wimbledon and what he aspires from himself on the tour.
Moya on the mindset and preparation of Rafael Nadal ahead of the Wimbledon
Nadal is all set to play at the grass court major despite being stripped off its ranking points. His coach, Carlos Moya, talked about Rafa’s perspective towards the tournament. He said, “Wimbledon is a fetish tournament for Rafa. He has won the title twice and has made five finals in a row.”

He elaborated on his playing style on the grass court as well. Moya said, “He knows how to fit his game perfectly with what the grass requires. Proof of this is that he made semis in Rafa’s last two appearances there. He is capable of playing at a high level at Wimbledon. For me, he aspires to the maximum in this tournament.”
Who will be Rafa’s challenge at the Wimbledon?
With 22 grand slam titles under his name, the Spanish tennis legend is aspiring to claim his 23rd one. Rafa was suffering through a foot injury and was not sure if he would be playing at the Wimbledon after his victory at the Roland Garros.

The Spanish player has moved past his contemporaries and arch rivals, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, in the count of grand slam titles.

Both of them have 20 grand slams each and Novak Djokovic will also strive to increase his score at the grand slam titles.
