Following his victorious quarter-final match against Taylor Fritz at the US Open, Novak Djokovic shared a lighthearted exchange with interviewer Rennae Stubbs about his perspective on the upcoming match between fellow Americans Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe, who stand as potential obstacles on his path to yet another Grand Slam final.

With a touch of humor, Djokovic quipped that he’d be enjoying the match from the comfort of his sofa, complete with physiotherapy, massages, popcorn, and a refreshing drink. When questioned about his beverage of choice, he playfully revealed it to be a simple one! “Well uh one thing is for sure you know I’m gonna be gonna be enjoying that match from my sofa with my physiotherapy and massage and popcorn and some nice drink. I’ll be enjoying that match obviously. It’s going to be a great one,” said Novak before Stubbs hilariously interrupted in between to ask about Novak’s choice of drinks. Novak was quick to answer Stubbs’ question, saying that the drink he was talking about was ‘lemon with water’.
