Meanwhile, Djokovic has been trending of late as comparisons with his rivals erupted. Recently, a tennis bigwig likened Djokovic to Serena Williams.

Similarities drawn between Serena Williams and Djokovic

Earlier this week, renowned coach Patrick Mouratoglou drew parallels between Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic. Mouratoglou has been Serena’s coach before and knows her game very well. He made clear his feelings about the Serb, who he believes is as aggressive on the court as Williams.

Talking about acts like breaking the racket while referring to players like Williams and Djokovic, he said, “I think players who say that they regret having broken a racket, don’t regret having won, and feel they had to do it. They need to be hated to raise their level of play.”

The Serb will be looking to become the first player to win 25 Grand Slam singles titles next year. Can he achieve this massive feat? Let us know your views in the comments below.
