The prestigious Moet & Chandon winery in France held an event to celebrate the release of special edition bottles of their iconic champagne.

Roger Federer, the 20-time Grand Slam winner, graced the event’s first day with a very special guest. Since 2012, the Swiss Maestro has been a member of the Vintage Champagne Group and has participated in numerous campaigns to promote the sought-after drinks of the French winery.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion attended a recent event hosted by the well-known French champagne brand, Moet & Chandon. Federer and his mother, Lynette Federer, were among the most prominent figures who graced the event.

Along with attending the event, the Swiss Maestro gave a speech and mentioned the winery. The former tennis star referred to this enormous gathering as one of the best parties and expressed his appreciation of such events. This is one of the first major events Federer has attended since leaving the professional circuit. After playing his final doubles match alongside his adversary and close friend Rafael Nadal, he decided to step away from the sport.

Notably, the French company honored the tennis player with a video. It included the tennis star’s life story and interviews with several well-known people, like Siya Kolisi, a rugby player, and tennis legends Rod Laver and the Swiss Maestro’s on-court rival, Rafael Nadal.

Previously, the winery released a special collection in 2018 to honor Federer‘s 20 years on the ATP Tour. The exclusive collection included 20 magnum bottles for the former tennis player with the label “Greatness since 1998.” The Swiss maestro has been a member of the French brand for about ten years.
